At Okapi Logistics, we take immense pride in our roots that trace
back to the amalgamation of two esteemed transport companies
– Dandre Transport, owned by Andre Van Wyk and Okapi Group
Logistics, owned by Hugo Van Wyk.
Originating from Upington in 1999, Dandre Transport embarked
on its journey, initially servicing local trucking needs around
Upington and eventually expanding its horizons to include long-haul
trucks and establishing depots in Upington and Johannesburg.

In 2011, Hugo van Wyk, Andre's brother, joined the ranks,
enriching our team with his expertise. In 2015, Dandre Transport
underwent a transformation, leading to the inception of Okapi
Group Logistics, under Hugo van Wyk's stewardship.
Subsequently, in collaboration with our partner, Harry Hendricks,
Ubhuthi Logistics was born, further strengthening our
commitment to excellence.
